Driving to the beach in summer! Member to go with me wanted!
The car that took the family to several places, countless train rides to work. While growing up, plane and bullet train rides would also increase. Precious memories were born on those vehicles.

When I was little, my dad used to drive the car when we went out as a family. According to my parents, I was always happily singing to the music playing in the car. But my singing voice was so horrible, that my parents would exchange looks with each other. When I started my work as a junior, it seems my parents thought that I would just have to become a good dancer, who doesn’t sing. Somehow I was able to debut and release a CD anyway, and even now my mom keeps saying that: “Good that you’ve become better than you were back then.” (laugh)
I can still clearly remember the day when I got my first bike. I was in early elementary school, when my parents bought me a 6-geared mountain bike for a birthday present. I was so happy that I cried in the store. When my mom saw me like that, she thought: “such a pure child!” and started crying too (laugh). After that, when I would go catch beetles or when I went to soccer practice, that bike was always my accomplice. Even now when I’ve grown up, I still like cycling all the way to a cafe on days when the weather is good. Unlike driving a car, you can ride while feeling the wind on your face, which feels really nice. I guess that’s the charm of a bike.
The vehicle I’ve spent most time in during my life is definitely a train. It used to take me two hours when I would go to the workplaces at the city during my junior days. Back then I spent my time reading a manga about ghosts in the train. I always had 6-7 books with me, but there’s only 31 books of that manga, so I would read the same manga through again and again quite often. That’s why after a while I started paying attention to the ghosts and their characteristics more than the story… Thanks to that I became to know quite a lot about ghosts.
I have a fear of heights, so it’s quite difficult for me to be on an airplane. I’m the kind to think that there’s no way a lump of metal can fly on the sky. The first long flight for me was when I went to Hawaii for work at the age of 13. The day before that I watched a movie, in which there were a huge amount of poisonous snakes on the plane attacking the people… So the next day when I boarded the plane, I remember not only being afraid of the heights, I was also scared of snakes appearing from somewhere (laugh).
I often use the bullet train for work-related travels, but I don’t like it that much… I’m really impatient, so for example if I was going to Osaka, I’d rather go by plane than ride three hours in the train. For me, vehicles make me think of sleeping, so I usually sleep in the bullet train. But I’ll definitely listen to music! If I don’t wear earphones, the JUMP member sitting next to me would keep talking all the time (laugh). By the way, the member I want to sit with me the most is (Takaki) Yuya. He usually plays with his cellphone or sleeps, so he’s quiet, and my sleep is secured.
Last year I got the driving licence that I really wanted. I was in such high spirits, that already during the same day I went for a drive with Daichan (Arioka). But when I was following his directions, he made me drive the highway or really narrow roads, and I almost got angry! When (Okamoto) Keito was with me, I would just get lost and he said: “I don’t want to ride on your car anymore” (laugh). When it becomes warm, I want to drive to the beach. I should be better at driving than when I had just got my licence, so maybe someone from JUMP would come with me?
